I completely agree, but we're not gonna get better if no one ever wants to play competitively... It seems like Beeji was the only one really interested in figuring out good comp team makups and strategies and stuff... Mag wanted to organize things but at least I never saw anything come of it... I've been working on learning more support heroes so that I can play that role better, I read a ton every day and it's all I play in matchmaking... That's what I like about matchmaking mode, it's all I do when I'm not playing with you guys... People generally take matchmaking more seriously and it's insanely fun because of it...
If we at least get a team together with basic roles figured out then we can start working from there, probably not even doing major scrims for a while... If we just work on playing no AB games with good names, like "1500+" in it instead of "CUM FAST", increasing the number as our PSR's grow, eventually we'll be ready to start doing serious scrims with other teams.... We're never, ever, at any point, going to get there if we just play casually all the time. Casual play has it's merits, it's fun and lulzy, but in this game I really enjoy the more serious high stakes games more, where you really have to be paying attention and working as a team... The really serious games we've played have absolutely been the funnest, at least for me...
Admittedly, slow bugs is probably one the best things in the game though.
tl;dr: If we don't practice as a comp team we'll never be good, and if we're never good then we'll never be able to play against other comp teams... And slow bugs is awesome.
