I think Fullbleed misinterpreted you.
Here's how I feel about DRM (and I'm pretty sure Chris feels the same)- DRM is fine, until it punishes you or hinders your enjoyment of the product more than pirating it would. I will not buy a game in which DRM makes it more annoying to use than a torrent. In addition, if there is any chance that I'm going to lose the product I purchased because a change in technology (see: DRM protected Itunes libraries, etc.), I'm going to be labeled as a criminal for altering the product to get it back. Therefore, fuck that shit I'm just gonna pirate it.
However, DRM that's not a stick in my ass all the time is fine, and I buy a large amount of games on steam, which happens to be DRM that doesnt fuck me.
tldr- DRM that impedes my ability to use a game will result in me pirating the game instead.
