Some time when we're both on vent I can stream and explain all the basics to you... It's a really simple game once you get it, it's just unbelievably not discoverable... I'm always willing to give DF tutorials

There are a series of incredibly useful guides on the actual DF forums. I found the wiki to be hit or miss, much of the info on the wiki is just nonexistant

My dwarf just crafted a legendary thong. Epic.

I started a fortress where I'm killing all dwarfs except 4 which i nicknamed after the 4 people i know play DF Kanji, Chris, TetsuGene, and myself ShadowGene.
I didnt bother looking at the genders of the characters before i nicknamed them so all but Chris was Female and Kanji and he were lovers.
She was also friends with the other 3 dwarfs who i stuck in a room and starved to death.
After they died Kanji did nothing but follow ShadowGene around as if she knew who did it.
She would follow her into the barracks, to her workshop, and her bedroom where she would do nothing but sit there and stare at her.
When ShadowGene finally went to her room to sleep Kanji threw a tantrum and punched ShadowGene in the head so hard it destroyed the bed she was sleeping in.
Kanji instantly stoped after hitting ShadowGene once.
ShadowGene in turn walked into the hallway and passed out due to head trauma.
