i'm a fucking Dayget.
SF4 is like solving rubics cubes really fast... no real skill required, just motor memory, practice, and fast thinking...
Did you remember to feed your gigapet as well? Pokemon...seriously? I'm not that old but... get off my lawn
Although I like the idea of a steampunk Diabloesque game, I think it is a bit too ambitious for a first game. I agree with Chris that the first game should probably be real simple just to see if we can band together enough to do it.
The only overly complicated part is the art. Everything else is absolutely within our grasp... Brendan and I have written some complex shit very fast before, but neither of us are particularly artistically talented, Brendan being passable and me being incompetent.
Disregard my last post; as of today I'll start being able to work on concept pictures at school. I make another thread as soon as I get a couple done.
I'm not very good at drawing anything besides guns and swords and there are at least five people here who are WAY better than me at graphic design. Also, I don't think we have a scanner. May or may not. If we do, I haven't seen it in a LOOOOONG time. And I really suck at drawing with a mouse. >_>I might be more useful when you guys start coming up with skills and game mechanics.
My 2d sidescrolling physics based game also wasn't a moot suggestion, I actually think it would be really awesome to make a really well done physics puzzle game, like with extremely well done physics and just about all the puzzles involve complex physics based maneuvers....
Given a general theme
I have the stuff to make concept art/graphics (my drawing tablet) but I don't know if my area of skills will match what is needed for this project. If this thing needs anything from me, I'll hear it from Garret right away anyways. I'm just putting this out there. :3
What size tablet do you have?
unless Kanji is just curious. XD
