This goes out to all of you. To the best of my understanding, Virally is the only person remotely interested in making this game. When I say interested, I mean actually willing to contribute. Game development can't happen with this few people... Perhaps we should think of a simpler idea that we can do with just the people willing to contribute? Perhaps a side-scrolling physics based platformer? That could be pretty cool, physics puzzles are awesome...

First off, sorry for not getting much done so far. Second off, I've got 4 papers due over the next 4 or 5 days I have class. So, doing artwork for a physics-driven puzzle game would be less time-consuming.

Also, I'm fine working on our steampunk D2 game. It's just going to be a long time before we finish.

Should we start out just making a single player RPG for the engineer, then add the other classes and add pvp as we get more foundation built up (and time to do it all)?

Although I like the idea of a steampunk Diabloesque game, I think it is a bit too ambitious for a first game. I agree with Chris that the first game should probably be real simple just to see if we can band together enough to do it.

My 2d sidescrolling physics based game also wasn't a moot suggestion, I actually think it would be really awesome to make a really well done physics puzzle game, like with extremely well done physics and just about all the puzzles involve complex physics based maneuvers....

Given a general theme, I can start working on concept art for that as well.

The whole point of concept art is to get some visual concepts out there, we decide on the overall theme and feel from those.... Think of something you think is cool and draw it...

I decided that my input is necessary as i know a few people with tablets as well, i tried to use on once but it found it a bit odd and hard to use but that is just me.
