I'm not an artist, and i definitely can't color. but is this the sort of idea we would be looking for for a generic baddie robot?

We should seriously just do this on Unreal Engine 3. UDK is super easy to work with and its completely free.

SF4 is like solving rubics cubes really fast... no real skill required, just motor memory, practice, and fast thinking...

Please read all posts I have put in here before posting. We've already been over that. I've already worked a great deal with 3d engines before. That's not the problem.

Realistic I think would be nice, but in a very stylized way.

Having simpler overall style but adding small details can make it look very polished but not too tedious to work on. I'm gonna sketch something really fast before work and post here for a second-rate example.

EDIT: I'll do something after work. No time. D:

Hm... I quickly skimmed over all the pages and from what I've picked up, the actual look of the game will consist of steampunk robots... with a more realistic feel to it... correct?

I'm asking because I was looking through all the character-specific classes and I want to draw some sort of sketch for each one. :\

I've never really drawn robots but I've recently been trying to take my artwork more seriously, so drawing something completely different might be good practice for me.

This goes for anyone willing to dick around and come up with artwork:

Anything that you think looks good and fits the theme well enough. Don't worry about high level of detail or anything like that right now. We can have simple but polished graphics, so just come up with anything you might like yourself.

Once I'm confident that we'll have art for this game, development will continue, until then I've stopped working on this project due to lack of artwork (so far only 1 concept art has been drawn, and it was only a face)... Brendan and I already started designing another game that doesn't need art :P

Nothing's obligatory, that's fine Chris.

To the topic of work order, I think we should do all the intellectual work first; i.e., we should come up with what the actual game is and how it will function before we actually write code or do a lot of artwork.
