I tried doing something like this with my Unreal Tournament 3 group. Generally it doesn't work out because people always have something going on. Especially on Fridays, I'm usually playing Magic the Gathering at the card shop, and I'm probably going to get a job soon. Chris is usually off banging his girlfriend and the other Shens members are doing other things.
It simply isn't worth it to keep the server running. Its been generous of Chris too pay for the server himself, but there's no reason for him to continue doing it when its barely used. We'll see how things are doing in the summer, and hopefully by then I'll have a job so I can contribute.
And who knows, maybe by then Valve will iron out some of the balance issues (yeah right).
Lol at the card game.
Yeah, in the end it would just be holding on to something unessecery, its not worth it if we just play one night, if anything we can just hijcak some random server and enjoy ourselves there.
Unfortuneately, my parrents watch my money and wouldnt want me "Donateing Money" Or else i would have donated in the firstplace/more often.
