So what is your team comp Jan? Mines Zero/Tekkaman Blade right now. I wasn't sure on Takkaman Blade till I saw his ending in story mode where he teamed up with Hyato to be a space bounty hunter(Hyato was my fav char from MvC2).

If I had the game I would probably play Karas and Casshan.

The live action Casshern movie is pretty epic. I was happy to see Casshan was playable.

I play with Ryu and Tekkaman usually. Sometimes I use Tekkaman Blade or Karas instead of Tekkaman.

I've been meaning to mess around more with Kaijin No Soki and Alex. And Tatsunoko characters in general.

I'll call myself a conspiracy theorist if you call yourself a coincidence theorist.

Anyone know if Viewtiful Joe is any good? That was another character I was surprised to see.

V-Joe is in my opinion is really good however he does not fit my play style, he works mainly around air combos that he can whip out really fast all the while spamming his two projectiles. I'm more of the in your face punch in face kinda guy. I do have one issue with the game tho, I have begun to practice and I am finding the controller set up a bit difficult. The game has trouble identifying quarter circle forward attack (everyone's pop up attack) and dash forward attack (manys multi hit spacing move) I also have issues when specials are like quarter circle quarter circle special attack special attack or worse the z motion special special(in simple controls its like special button down right or left...). I saw that the game had simple controls but it seems to only be for the wii mote, does anyone know if the simple controls apply to the arcade stick as well. ONE MORE THING! Jan you wanna hang out on like saturday or sunday and play a few rounds so you can get a feel for the game?

Tekkaman Blade and Yatterman 2 are extremely overpowered, and PTX is the best giant, or so I hear.

I use Chun-Li and Roll for now...
>.>

I used V.Joe instead of Roll at first, though; and as minor as it is, his assist really bugs me. So that's why I replaced him with Roll. :O

You should message Bleed about that because he bought the arcade stick; though I'm pretty sure it doesn't have the simple controls that the Wiimote has because I remember Bleed ranting about it. He called it "baby's first fighting game" or something. xD

I had an idea for any other Capcom vs. game they should have Wesker in there after all they own RE so why not that would be really cool. I mean he already as a move set from the game so it wouldn't even be hard.

$20 says he uses Baby's First Controller. (Wiimote.)

Blade and I are using GC controllers actually, although I think he said he was considering an arcade stick. I think I'm going to stick with the controller though, I got really used to using it for fighters from Melee.

(Incoming shitstorm about Melee being a fighter)

All I can say is, the gate is your best friend. Get used to all of your directional input being against the gate. In fact, I wouldn't use any other controller simply because the GC one has a real gate, as opposed to the shitty floating analog that Xbox/PS has.

Good tutorial:

Tatsunoko vs Capcom Ultimate All-Stars -=- Systems Primer and Basics Tutorial by Keits

Mag, learning to use an arcade stick is a long process. Also you can't really apply what you learned in Smash Bros to other fighting games because it is..."unique" for lack of a better word. There isn't any traditional fighting stuff in there, for example there's no execution barrier for moves, and there is no blocking in the technical sense.

I've dabbled in fighting games besides Melee, I know what you're talking about. Blade and I have also played MvC2 and Soul Calibur 2 pretty extensively.
