Well, I haven't thoroughly looked through this, but it was part of the instructions on that huge texture pack.
My friend skipped this step and his textures worked offline but it crashed on him when he tried to join an online game.

Maybe doing this step will fix the textures online too.

I must admit, it sounds like fun modding the living crap out your Wii. Like if you are good enough, you can install your Wii games on an external harddrive and play it right from that without the disc. You can also DL games you don't own and play them as well

Yeah, I have brawl. Me and my friend have a doubles team we play in tournys sometimes, but I was never really able to get that into it because of how bogged down brawl was as compared to melee. Those links would be awesome though. I've been having trouble finding it all myself D:

I got the homebrew channel working last night, installed the Homebrew browser and then used that friendly little app to install a GBA emulator, Doom, and Quake... Went to bed after playing 4 or 5 levels of quake... If you install the homebrew channel, use homebrew_browser also... It's awesome...

It's bannerbomb, homebrew channel, and homebrew_browser all in 1 zip that you just unzip onto the root of an SD card... Makes it a little easier, as you don't need to download 3 zips and put them all in the right places...

Homebrew Channel is just a loader, so you can literally do 100% of anything with it... It allows arbitrary code execution, which is normally not possible...

Make sure you install the homebrew browser as it allows you to browse, download, and install homebrew apps straight to your Wii. You can download a Brawl+ update app that automatically updates the game to the latest version.
